I had a wonderful stay at the Lancaster Hotel. I realized on arrival (after traveling for nearly 24 hours!) that I had lost my passport and the concierge was so kind and helped to call the cab company to try to find it. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was lovely and delicious. All the staff were lovely. I would not hesitate to come here again and would recommend to anybody. The only downside is it a little distance to the nearest metro stop but there is a tram that goes nearby, and if you don’t mind a 10-15 minute walk it is not bad! The area seemed safe to walk in alone at night (I did multiple times as a young woman and never felt unsafe). Thanks again to all at Lancaster Hotel for a great stay!

The hotel was perfectly clean with professional staff. Breakfast was delicious and lovely service. The Lancaster is within a 20 min walk of all the places we wanted to see- the Duomo, the Last Supper and the castle in the parc.

Although only 3 stars (because they don't have a public restaurant) this is beyond 5 stars. The staff alone makes staying here worth it. They are exceptional in the way they treat and assist you to their knowledge of languages from all walks of life. Again, they are beyond exceptional! It's a small private hotel with only 30 SOUNDPROOF rooms located in a residential area. It is VERY clean and kept that way all the time. Their continental breakfast was just wonderful and better them most the 5 stars we have stayed at in the past. They are located out of Milan's center city (which is very noisy and congested) and are central to the shopping of Milan and most attractions. There are several trolley/tram stops within a short walking distance of the hotel that can get you all over the city and to all major modes of transportation. The price was great compared to the more exclusive/name brand hotels you will find there even during the holidays (timeframe we stayed there). You will not find a better hotel or staff anywhere in Milan then here. It is well worth the stay.
