If you stay here do not expect a typical Country Inn & Suites experience as you will not find it here. While the exterior looks typical once you step inside it is more like you crossed a threshold into a budget regional hotel. Small lobby and an overwhelmed desk agent. Our room was on the back of the hotel and we were instructed to find door 5 which we did and found that the door did not lock. A quick pull on the door handle and you're in. There was a note at the front desk that they were renovating but once we started down the hallway we knew we were in trouble. Old carpeting that had dried paint drops, garbage and trash here and there and a lingering odor that couldn't be identified. They did the best they could with the room but again, not up to Country Inn standards at all. The bathroom still had a cast iron tub and the shower curtain was so short it didn't reach into the tub so when we showered the floor of the bathroom and the area outside the bathroom flooded. Down at the pool the garbages were so full that all of the empty beer cans from the hockey parents drinking out of their coolers that they were stacked on top of the garbage which just made the place look sketchy. It seemed like the only person on duty was the desk clerk and he simply couldn't keep up. Would not recommend for maybe a year or two if the renovations could possible put enough lipstick on that place to make it resemble our expectations for a Country Inn & Suites.
