I paid extra for a Riverview it was on the correct side to see the river but it was on the 2nd floor And no kitchen ,the room was smaller than advertised

My room for the night was about $160. So, ok. But the hotel insisted upon placing an additional $250 "hold" on my account for extras like minibar (except there was no minibar in the room). Further, they could not provide me with an invoice because I booked through a third party. So an otherwise nice property is saddled with hidden fees and stupid paperwork requirements. If travelocity is responsible for this, shame on them.

Upon check-in a credit card is required for room, tax & incidentals; an authorization occurs to be sure funds are available, but the card is not charged. The balance of this authorization is released upon your departure. I’m sorry that this was not effectively communicated and for any frustration caused.
