I would compare it to a well aged vintage wine/well maintained with all your needs thought of by the lovely innkeepers - jumbo-sized towels, cozy robes, ultra comfy bedding, and a keurig-style coffeemaker provided with compostable French roast pods which is the exact kind I use at home!
Breakfast next day was a feast: fresh fruit salad, warm croissant, a frittata with onions peppers mushrooms, 2 strips of bacon, golden hash browns, dark bold coffee and fresh- squeezed OJ. The on-site Italian restaurant is not to be missed for dinner- we Started with an ample antipasto board, had an excellent linguine carbonara and lemony, garlicky shrimp scampi; the well-curated wine list drew from French, Italian, Californian, South American and other global selections that were fairly-priced..all these shared with very dear HOO friends made for an unforgettable evening. Parking is conveniently available across The street from the inn.
Only suggestions
I have is to provide a couple of hangers next to the robes and although the shower curtain is lovely the hooks come off when you pull it to close or open. We will definitely come back and Will highly recommend It to others,

We loved the restoration of the old building and the antique furniture
There's a restaurant on site, as well as a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Free breakfast is served daily. WiFi is free in public spaces. A library, a terrace, and coffee/tea in a common area are also featured at The Oxford Inn. Free self parking is available. This 3-star Oxford inn is smoke free.
