I checked in and the facility was sub par. I told the desk clerk that I was not satisfied and would like to check out. I reserved my room under a third party, which, she informed me that I's have to contact THEM for the refund. I asked for a receipt to confirm my early check out to which she told me that she cancelled it in the computer system. I asked her to print out what she put into the computer...she said no. I was practically begging for a receipt to no avail. I told her that I would video our encounter to have a time stamp of my leaving the facility and her confirming my refund...she got really upset and threatened to call the police. I told her that I'd wait for them. Three police officers later, I'm standing there EMBARRASSED...explaining to them that I simply wanted a receipt. He then spoke to her then told me that he cannot force her to give me receipt. I left with a tiny piece of dignity, but no receipt. I don't want to pull the race card, but I'm not sure what else to thing. I'm just glad that I have the encounter recorded and I chose not to upload the incident because I do not want to create a media frenzy that we see online daily. I'm waiting for a response from Travelocity or my refund.

The mattress was worn out, needing replaced sagging horribly. We turned it 90° to get a somewhat comfortable sleep. When mentioned to front desk it was basically brushed off. Desk lamp was broken. Toilet barely worked, sinks and tub slow-draining. We were rudely awakened the first nightbat 2:30 a.m. by someone pounding on our door. When i answered he swire that he had tge wrong f*ing room, never apologized. Next night we were awakened by the fire alarm blaring for about a minute. Front desk just laughed when adked about it and said "Oh someone smoked." This is listed as Red Roof Plus, but there is nothing "plus" about it. We almost canceled our Boston Red Roof Plus lodging as a result. I do NOT recommend, and will NOT ever stay here again. Corporate needs to take a hard look at this facility and make some serious corrections.

It was near the airport so we didn't expect much from the neighborhood, but it was later in the evening and people were hanging outside smoking. It felt just a little unsafe, but no one bothered us. Overall we didn't want to spend much as we got in late and were leaving early. Only real complaint...there was no coffee. Otherwise okay.

This was an exremely unsafe hotel. As soon as I checked in, we checked out. There was drug activity going in in the parking lot.This property was highly misrepresented on travelocity.
