Perfect! Clean, spacious and modern decor.

Pros: Loved the "condo" style floorplan
I stayed here for one night and was very happy with my visit. The room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. I also had to study at night and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my room on the third floor was (despite the occasional train sound, but that ended before I went to sleep at night so it wasn't a big deal). The staff member, Eric, who checked me in welcomed me with a warm greeting and was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Conshohocken!

Nice hotel close to NBOME center

It is a 5-10 minute walk to the NBOME center which is nice. Certainly overpriced for the hotel/location/commodities but they know their demographic and know that medical students want to be near the testing center. Front desk staff were wonderful (especially Logan who was kind enough to help me sort out a minor snafu). The town isn't much but enough to get dinner from. They have a food-truck agreement where the trucks come to the hotel which is actually pretty awesome. They are about 2 blocks from the SEPTA line which is very convenient. The room itself was spacious and decently clean. The heating/air conditioning unit made a noise on and off all night but I was able to sleep through it - may be a deal breaker if you are a very light sleeper. Nothing amazing for the price besides the convenience of location honestly, but it would not be bad if you are a family of 4 trying to get 1 room (again, spacious).

Great amenities

The hotel was very close to the train and the hotel provides a shuttle to the NBOME testing center. There is a social hour each night were there is free soda and snacks. There is also a bar with food you can order and there are lots of good place to order in. Hotel was very clean. Staff friendly. only downside is you can hear the train all night so bring ear plugs and you will be fine.

An easy stay with a good breakfast included.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I stayed at the Residence Inn before taking the COMLEX PE exam. The NBOME testing center is a five minute walk away from the hotel which is very convenient. Getting to the hotel was pretty easy. I flew into Philadelphia, and took the train (Airport Line) to Suburban Station where I transferred to the R6 (Manayunk/Norristown) Line. You can transfer at any of a number of stations (30th street, Suburban or Market East), but I like Suburban because 1) the station is indoors with shops to get something to eat if you have to wait for your train, 2) there are printed train schedules available, so be sure to pick up Norristown schedule while you are at Suburban Station as it will be nice to have the timetable and a list of the stations on the line, and 3) it's crowded which is nice when you are in a strange place. The R6 then runs out to Conshohocken. The train stops about a block away from the hotel which is very convenient. A ticket costs $10 one-way which you can purchase on the train car from the conductor with cash. The train ride on a Sunday morning took two hours. The actual ride was one hour, but I just missed the R6 and so had to wait an additional hour for the next train to arrive at Suburban station which doubled my trip time. I think two hours is worst case scenario, as this was a Sunday morning and trains were running hourly. They may run more frequently on weekdays. Other students said a car ride to the airport takes about 45 minutes without traffic. The return train ride Monday evening took just under two hours from arriving at the station in Conshohocken to sitting down at the airport terminal past security. So, if you are flying into PA for the COMLEX, and are considering the train, budget for a two hour train ride, and you'll be safe to catch your flight. Since the 8am COMLEX ends around 3:30, the very earliest you can schedule a flight would be 5:30, and that is if everything is perfectly aligned. I'm not that brave, so I scheduled a 7:30 flight and had a long dinner at the "Legal Fish" restaurant in the airport which was expensive, but very good. The hotel was nice. I forgot my razor blade, and the front desk provided me one gratis. The free internet is a must these days. The room was clean and very comfortable. I had a pizza delivered; the front desk also provided menus to local restaurants that deliver. It was very quiet. I slept like a baby. The breakfast was pretty good. They have a decent selection of foods. You can leave your bag with the front desk after you check out in the morning, or you can take it with you to the test center. I took mine with me and didn't have a problem; i saved some time getting to the train station that way. Also, other students said the hotel offers a shuttle to the airport, but it supposedly costs $30 per person. I'll take the train thank you. Good luck on your test, and use the Marriott Residence Inn. It is very convenient for those taking the COMLEX PE.

Never Again!

We stayed at this hotel while attending Parent's Weekend at Villanova. To start things off, when we requested a cot we were told that the hotel did not have any. The room was shabby and looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The only trash can was under the kitchen sink and it had not been emptied, the cabinets in the kitchen were streaked with a spill of some type and we woke up to bugs on the kitchen floor. The mirrored closet doors appeared to be off the track and were very hard to open. The a/c was very noisy and the room was freezing when it was on and hot when it shut itself off. Based on the lack of cleanliness in the room, we decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel. We have stayed at several Marriott hotels in the Philly/NY area and have never experienced anything like this. Never Again!
