Welcome to Driftwood Beach Guest House, located in the heart of Seal Rock! This gorgeous mother-in-law cottage is perfect for up to four guests, with three rooms and one bathroom. This vacation rental offers an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean from the second floor windows and the spacious outdoor deck! There is even a pathway for guest use that leads right down to the beach! Down here you'll find miles of sandy shores to relax on during the summer or explore for washed up debris during the winter! Head back to the rental and step inside. To your right, you'll find a small kitchen with a sink, a microwave, a small mini fridge underneath the counter, a small countertop toaster oven, and a table for four. Please note that this rental does not offer an oven or a dishwasher, so make sure to bring snacks that do not require cooking. Head back over to the other side of the suite, and you'll find the first room, complete with a queen size bed, a TV, and a dresser. Walk around the bed and you'll find the bathroom on this floor, complete with a shower/tub combo! Head upstairs and you'll see the other two rooms. The last bedroom offers two twin size beds, perfect for the kids! You'll be able to see the gorgeous Seal Rock coastline from the window in this room! Back in the upstairs hallway, you'll find a door that leads out onto a walkway. Feel free to catch an even better glance of the Pacific from up here! Newport is a short fifteen minute drive away, where you can find plenty of restaurants and family friendly things to do, including the aquarium and a Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum! Work weekend
Needed a place to seclude away to organize 30 years of photos. Outdoor table was great and out of the weather and wind. Not a three bedroom, there is a queen bed in the living room. Great location, easy instructions and good communication. No oven/stove or BBQ, but would stay there again.

Great location
We loved the location and view. House and property are very beautiful, quiet and clean. Steps down to ocean and almost private beach are super cool and beautiful! Location was perfect for our trip too. We wished the kitchen was more complete as we had planned to cook, but there is no stove. Would recommend a single induction burner and a few pots! Also need a few more lights in kitchen and would be much more comfortable if bed in living room was a sofa bed -- not a lot of room to hang out in this place. But overall, it was a great spot. Thanks!

I hate to write a negative review but this place smelled like a nursing home. carpet had stains, no water filter so you can't drink the water unless you like really bad tasting water. one window had no handle so could not open it and the blind was broken on the other window so we couldn't get a cross breeze and no fans or any way to move the air in there. bulbs were burned out in the upstairs rooms. the kitchen has a very strong coffee smell, not like ahh nice it smells like coffee - like day in day out coffee brewed all day at a diner kind of smell. it was clean but could for sure use a dusting and the smell was just so unpleasant we dreaded going back inside each day. view was 10/10. and I knew it was on the same property as the owner but you are connected to their house by the outdoor patio (picture with the view and the owls) and they have a camera above their backdoor which is right where you are sitting. so I understand having a camera on your backdoor...but it's awkward to think you might be being watched or listened to while you sit outside to enjoy the view. rip out that carpet and get some hardwoods in there. would not stay there again, would not recommend to anyone i liked. sorry for the negative review, hope some changes will be made.

Lovely and private. There was a queen bed downstairs and then upstairs there were two twin beds and one day bed with a trundle bed underneath. The private walkway to the beach is easy to get to. The view is fabulous. The only problems that there weren’t enough bath towels and no kitchen towels or papery towels but we made due.

The location and beach access was exquisite. Being away from the crowds works for us. The ocean view was amazing. The only issues - only one wash cloth, no dish rags - only a minor inconvenience. All in all it was a great time on the Oregon coast. Thanks!!

For early June the weather was incredible and we spent time on the beach, and fishing from shore. My only complaint was there wasn’t any way to cook food other than the microwave and toaster. Also, no trash can in the kitchen made it inconvenient.

Great location
The location of this hone was just as described-right at the beach, with beautiful views from several windows. The surrounding landscape was also lovely and very peaceful. It felt very private. The downsides-no stove, no living room area-were in the description so no surprise. The stairs to the beach which bothered some people were steep but sturdy, and no problem for a 3 year old, a woman 8 months pregnant, and a senior in her seventies. We'd come again!
