My key wouldn’t go in the lock when we got there at almost 10:00pm, and when I called the “emergency” number, it made me leave a voicemail, saying that someone would get back to me after 9:00 the next morning when the office opened. Thank God a neighbor just happened to be walking by and helped me figure out that the key needed to go in at an angle and had to be wiggled in order to get it to unlock! Other complaints: bedroom is small, whole suite smells like stale cigarettes, kitchen blind slats are broken, bathroom door doesn’t lock, only two towels were provided when we checked in with 4 people, no tissue was provided in the bathroom, extremely pricey for the poor quality/lack of amenities. Positives: in-room coffee was actually pretty good.

Check in time was 3pm. We arrived at half past 3. The room was trashed. We missed our dinner reservations waiting for our room to be cleaned.

When we arrived, too early to check in, the staff was very rude. Told that I was too early and that would not be ready until 4 pm even though I had requested a 2 pm check in. When we could not find a working ice machine, we called the office and could only leave a message that was never returned. I feel that quality of room was way overpriced.

Cozy hotel, close to the beach

This was probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, I really enjoyed the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub after driving 6 hours! This place was perfect, it was rainy and cold outside but I was so comfortable all night, it was lovely to ope. A window and listen to the rain while watching the fire I will definitely be visiting again soon!!

Mixed reviews

The location is amazing and our room #11 had a great view and had great fit and finish. Unfortunately, the upstairs unit has little/no sound proofing so we heard our upstairs neighbors walking around all night. Also, the lock to then outer hallway had issues and we were locked out twice. The woman at the front desk (across the street) didn't seem very concerned nor did she offer any compensation for our issues. If you stay I'd suggest staying upstairs.
