Whenever you walk into the hotel, there’s the most wonderful sandlewood scent. I loved it. They have recently remodeled and it’s wonderful.

The Rider Restaurant is delicious, wish I ate there more! Clean bathroom! Love the feel of this hotel. Great location. If I’m ever in Seattle again I will be staying here !

Stayed a night and was charged $113 by “mistake” - had to make several calls, was promised a refund but it never went through. More calls and the system was down. Had to dispute the charge with help from my bank. Too bad, the accommodations were decent

Really cool hotel, very well kept, "neat" rooms, chic, and great location. The coffee bar (Made Coffee) was great, and the restaurant and bar (Rider) were very good. Overall, this is a great selection if you are staying in Seattle.

Scenic view of better hotels

Booked this hotel because it was close to the convention center and unlike the Sheraton across the street it said it included parking which made it worth the extra bucks. Got there, valet was rude and unhelpful, then front desk people were rude and said that it did not include any parking even though I could pull up the ad online and show them it was marked as an included item. They were generally apathetic, which was a theme that ran through the entire staff other than the happy hour bartender, who will probably realize the error of his ways in time. The small elevator led up to a small, outdated room, with none of the things you would expect from an upscale hotel. Don’t advertise as a retro modern building if you are are a time capsule with rooms the size of a water closet... I had the chance to go into a couple of other hotels that I could have booked for less because friends were staying there and it made me regret my booking even more. Got to see the parking advertised as an amenity on google when I went to leave a one star review there... disgusting. Maybe not a bad Travelocity listing, but a bad hotel in general. Will stay across the street next time and save money.
