There are no standard taxi rides available from Cyril E. King Airport. However, you can take SUVs and vans from the airport into St. John's. The rates are set by the Virgin Island Taxicab Division, and depend upon the destination. Travel from St. Thomas is by car barge or public ferry, and there are also private water taxis available. The passenger ferry departs St. Thomas from Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie, while the car barge only leaves from Red Hook.
