Getting late check-in took 4 calls. When I got there, the inside front door had about 25% paint peel, 2 of 4 bathroom lights were out, there was significant mud (I hope that’s what it was) on the carpet and, worst of all, the toilet didn’t work.
We loved this hotel. I was slightly nervous when we pulled in as it looked almost like a motel, but our room was perfect for us. It was just my daughter and I. The room had two super comfortable beds and very nice bedding. There were two sinks and then a separate small bathroom with the shower and toilet. The shower was very large. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Soft towels and Tommy Bahama soap, shampoo, etc. Very large beach towels were provided by the pool to take on the beach. There were plenty of lounge chairs provided by the ocean. A very short walk to the beach. All staff was very friendly. Be prepared if you order food at the tiki bar by the pool, the food does take a very long time. It is cooked at the main restaurant and then brought to the pool area. Limited menu and the mixed drinks were quite expensive. I felt those were two very small negatives. We were extremely happy with our stay and I plan to return to this hotel again next January. It seemed like a great time of year to visit the island.
