Check in was fine, the gentleman that helped me was really nice and gave me a nice welcome gift. My only complaint about the place is the bar across the street is noisy. No fault of the hotel, so if you like a quiet early sleep, make sure you stay on the side of the hotel away from the bar.

Staff always pleasant. Room absolutely clean. This was just right for our visit to the pen show. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing to write home about. We would stay here again.

Great hotel

Towneplace Suites is a very nice hotel. Wonderful suites with full kitchen. The property is kept in great condition, safe, nice staff, and convenient location. I highly recommend staying here.

I was surprised this was a Marriott

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Poor breakfast, old and stale and low quality
This hotel has a nice layout and business options but seems to have a problem with management. Perhaps this has to do with the area and quality of people in the community. This would not be my first choice but I would stay here again.

Nice hotel for the price

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet, not a friendly staff
I stayed here for 2 nights. Even though the hotel was good and clean, I didnt find the staff so welcoming and friendly. The room per se was well equipped with all amenities in the kitchen and a full size desk to work. The overall size of the room was small and I found it a little conjusted. There was no wifi in the room which i would definately include in the negative points about this hotel. Its far from downtown washington. Inspite of a fun ride in the metro, I would conclude that if you are there for a vacation and to have a relaxing time, opt for a hotel in dowtown to avoid the travelling problems.
