We did have trouble getting into an appropriate room because the first room had a broken toilet and the second room still had stuff from other people in it but the staff was working so hard to make it right. I’m satisfied.

Pool was closed and it didn’t say that. That was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. The tables outside were broken and wobbly. The table in the room was broken. The pics online didn’t represent what the place actually looked like.

Check-In Was Great, But The Stay Was Far From It
The check-in process was fantastic. The young woman that checked us in was AMAZING and we wish that she stayed on-shift for the full stay, but it seemed as if everything went downhill after she left. The phone in our room did not work. The breakfast was mediocre the next day with exceptionally disgusting eggs. The room was spacious, but the service was catastrophic after the young lady left. There were no sheets, pillows or bedding at all for the sofa bed. It felt like we had to call the front desk for EVERYTHING throughout the stay - which was even crazier because again the phone inside of the hotel room did not work, so I had to use my cell phone to call the hotel directly even while I was staying in the room. It had great potential, but for some reason just did not measure up to the overall expectations that the young lady set at the start of our trip when I was checking in.

No pool
The hotel is good overall, but we booked this hotel because of the pool. Our kids were excited to swim after the long car ride. Unfortunately, the pool is under construction and can’t be used. The hotel should announce this ahead of time so families can factor it into their planning.

good place to stay
The manager, Mr. Dinkins, was super friendly and welcoming after a long travel day. Sandy, the night clerk, was exceptionally courteous. I had a sleepless night and wandered to the lobby at 1am. She got me hot water for tea. After a chat, I realized that she is a conscientious employee and cares for her customers. She goes the extra mile. The hotel was very nice. It was comfortable and clean. I'd definitely stay here again.
