Air France Post Booking Tips

How to I find my flight number?

  • Your flight code will be stated in your itinerary, which will be emailed to you once your reservation has been finalized. It's wise to keep this at your fingertips in case you want to make changes to your ticket.

How early can you check bags for a flight?

  • If you're jetting off on an international flight, you can generally drop off your bags three hours ahead of departure. For domestic services, two hours is standard. Why not take some of the stress out of traveling and get to the airport with time to spare? That way, you don't have to worry about missing the bag drop completely. It generally closes 45 minutes before a domestic flight and one hour before internationals.

Booked 8 day early and put on standby. Sent from check in count to gate for boarding pass then back to Connection Center then to gate where gate staff was late, preventing me from having dinner with colleagues.

Flight out of Basel was late Bag was not loaded on connecting flight Lost luggage outsourced to third party in Turin who tells you to call Air France; no one responds, of course... $500 to fly from Basel to Turin, and this experience. Only monopolistic airlines can offer this disastrous service; highly time for enhanced ompetition

Economy airfares don’t come with many amenities, but paying to upgrade your set - if you can get it - is worth it. Air France has been good for us - the cabin staff has been friendly, the food no worse than anywhere else and probably a little better.

Great flight.

The associate girl at the counter for check-in process was condescending and lacked basic manners of dealing with customers right from the start. Then, she said: "Would you like to be helped by another associate?" I said: "Yes". The associate guy who took over was not condescending but he wasn't polite either. When he was unable to locate my infant daughter's name in the booking, I showed him the booking receipt which clearly showed my infant daughter's name and details, instead of saying "sorry, let me check", he goes: "you didn't book her under your name"! He then asked for a more knowledgeable associate to help him out who was indeed able to solve the issue for him! At that point, he just plainly gave me the boarding passes. No apologies, nothing. Following that, everything else with the whole experience was all great. The check-in counter staff should be educated on developing basic customer service manners. It's not a place for them to show arrogance. Thanks.

Long but nice flight

Oct 3, 2019

Long flight, i wish we could’ve upgraded the seats but the layover was too short and we almost missed the flight due to an unexpected delay in the runway.

I did not get the seat that I paid extra for on the Atlanta to Paris flight

Sep 29, 2019

The staff did not allow people with very tight connections to disembark before the rest of the LATE flight. Inexcusable!
