May 17, 2020

I was pleasantly surprised with the space for my (long) legs and the comfortable seat on Jet Blue. I will definitely choose to fly with Jet Blue again!

Mar 14, 2020

Was great due to the corona virus. No one was at the airport.

Mar 12, 2020

No problems, everything went smoothly

Mar 10, 2020

Excellent crew

Mar 9, 2020

Need better explanation on how to connect to inflight wifi

Mar 9, 2020

Travelocity should clarify the bags were not included in the ticket price ( I did a connection in Fort Lauderdale to BRAZIL via Azul airlines). Although I had chosen 1 bag when booking the trip via Travelocity, I had to pay 1 bag to check in with both JetBlue and Azul. In my opinion it was very deceiving from Travelocity.

Mar 9, 2020

Bit of an issue when the flight was delayed then back on time, after I changed my connection!

Mar 8, 2020

GREAT FLIGHT. EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY

Mar 8, 2020

Free WiFi available would be nice

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Fort Lauderdale

These useful tips and pointers about airport security procedures will save you lots of time on your trip to Fort Lauderdale:

  • Be sure you know the whereabouts of your boarding pass and travel ID. You don't want to hold up the queue when you're asked to present them.
  • You'll need to pause the tunes for a little while. Headphones and earphones must be taken off and put in a bin to be X-rayed. The same goes for items such as coins and keys.
  • Laptops, digital cameras and other electronic devices must be placed in separate trays to be X-rayed.
  • Traveling with a new perfume? As long as it's no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and it's placed in a clear zip-lock bag, you can keep it in your hand luggage.
  • Safety boots and other bulky shoes tend to be X-rayed by airport security. Think about wearing lightweight sneakers instead.
  • The list of non-permissible items is forever updating. Check with your airline's official website for what is not allowed on board their aircraft.

The spring-break center of Florida also celebrates its waterside location with canals big enough to accommodate pleasure boats and the Everglades where airboats can take you close to wild alligators. The land offers diversions as well. At the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District, you can shop at trendy boutiques or dance at hot clubs. Delight your senses at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts or go for visual pursuits at the Museum of Art.

Transportation From FLL

Otherwise, rooms overlooking the water or in the excitement of downtown may be more to your liking. Staff there can answer questions, such as where to hail a cab if your hotel doesn't offer courtesy shuttles. For more control over your ride, try the Rental Car Center next to Terminal 1. About a dozen companies offer service there. After you've checked into your room, try riding the Sun Trolley for an overview of the city by land or the Water Taxi to admire yachts and millionaire homes from the water.
