Booked with Travelocity, always do. Ck in was Fri leave Sun for a King Suite. A Natasha was working counter, a line of people waiting when we walked in.
Seemed not to know what she was doing, honestly, seemed completely high!
The people at the counter took another 15 min, they had two rooms, other person wasn't there yet, this completely through her off. The lady before me just walked in on another guest she said with the card she was given! Natasha gives her a different room card booked for someone else, it was laying on the counter with a bunch of others with slips for people booked already you could see. She kept looking at them confused, giving them out cause two other people not together came down and said they walked in on people as well.
Its our turn, she tells me we're booked for a handicap double queen, for Fri only. Said she can't help, its booked through Travelocity, call them.
I sit in the lobby across from her and call. They place me on hold and call hotel. I hear the call, Natasha says a bunch of spams going on, can't help you on ph, email me.
In that time, guest came down wanted towels. She goes into backroom, in there awhile, comes back with pillow. Says "anything else I can get you?" He said uuum yeah, towels. Seriously, like I said, high!
After an hr an half of waiting Travelocity was able to get her to give us what I booked and paid for. Next day Jamie was there, she was great! She was such a hard worker and was totally on top of everything!!!

A great place to stay outside of Holland znd Grand Haven. Indoor pool was nice and breakfast was much better than your average hotel. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of area attractions. We will be back!

WORST HOTEL OWNER/MANAGER EVER!!!!
I called over a month before our stay to make reservations for 2 rooms, for my family and my sister's family. When I called to reserved the rooms, the person who I was speaking to had a very thick accent and I kept asking him to repeat himself. Because I wasn't sure if he was understanding me, I asked him 3 times "so, that's for August 2,3 and 4th, for 2 rooms, right?!" He assured me, "Yes, Ma'am. That's correct." So, my family and my sister's family checked in on the 2nd. On the 3rd, my family was in a parade in Grand Haven and I received a panicked phone call from my sister back at the hotel, that we didn't have rooms for the 3rd and 4th. I called the front desk right away and explained that I had made reservations for 3 nights and this clearly had to be a mistake. When the girl at the desk asked if I remembered who I spoke to, I said "yes, I remember very clearly. It was a man..." and she finished "with an accent?" I said, "Yes!" She proceeded to tell me I had spoken with the owner and that he makes mistakes like this all the time. So, the owner calls me, and it's like talking to a wall. He said I had requested 1 night, so he put it in the computer for 1 night. I asked him, "So, you can tell me you 100% remember speaking with ME, and ME saying that exact thing to you?" He says, "No, I couldn't possibly remember that. But you said, 1 night, so I put it in the computer for 1 night. I not make mistake." So, you can clearly see that this went around in circles with him. He refused to make things right, he refused to listen to me and he refused to do anything about it. DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE! It is not worth it. We had to scramble to find rooms for the next two nights for our 2 families and ended up in an even crappier hotel. Oh, and the showers are extremely slippery and my son fell many times in the shower. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen and I did leave a complaint at the front desk about it.

Disappointing
Staff were friendly and bed comfortable, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. The room was chilly upon arrival on a snowy night. The bathroom is small, no tub only a shower stall. Taking a shower was truly an adventure since the floor of the shower sloped downwards toward the faucet and was slippery too boot! The bedspread on one of the beds had a prominent dark brown mark on the underside near the edge about 3 inches in diameter...not sure if it was mud or worse from a previous occupant, but it obviously hadn't been changed. Luckily there were two beds, so we slept in the other one that looked clean. Pillows were plentiful but were the new mini-pillows some hotels now favor. Come on - no one would buy these for their home, why would we want them when traveling? Before sleeping we had to pin the edge of the drape under the door of the closet, otherwise the gap in the curtain was so large that someone could stand outside our first floor room and look in via the mirrored closet door...right in front of our bed - yikes...not great for security or privacy (sure glad we noticed!).
Breakfast the next morning had two cereal choices, yogurt, bread, cold muffins, or bagels plus juice and coffee. Would have loved some protein options other than yogurt. We would have to think long and hard before opting to stay in a hotel of this chain again.
