I liked the large parking area and easy access to my room. There was no coffee maker in room. No coffee available in lobby except at morning check out. Then once coffee push to pour no choices no hot water for tea and only one canister of sugar and powered cream subittude. And this only in lobby. In the bear looking room, a microwave sat on top of small refrigerator which was not plugged in. No hair dryer no extra pillows no extra blankets. No shampoo or other personal products. The worst is the bathroom. No safety features such as tub bottom strips to pervert slipping. No grap bars. Nothing to help me out of the tub! It took me about ten minutes to carefully inching along slipping and falling back many times, I am 75 years old and had to work carefully to not break a hip on that tub. No tissues in bathroom or anywhere

From the broken front door, to the crummy conditions in the hallway and room, it was probably the second worst place that I've ever stayed. At least there were no bugs in the room and the AC worked fine. - broken front door - no shampoo or conditioner - no carpeting - banged up hallway and doors (needed painting badly) - ice machine that gave up 5 ice cubes upon my departure - behind the glass - check in and check out - swimming pool that was closed because it was in terrible shape

MOTEL 6 DECATUR GEORGIA

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel needs to be cleaned and maintained. The obvious drug dealing in the parking lot needs to be addressed by management.
The hotel has a large parking lot where several guests/local residents hang out. The hotel looks good from the outside. When checking in at the hotel, I waited for ten minutes as no one was at the front desk. The desk clerk could not find my reservation and then passed me off to another employee. I was given a room key and as I exited the elevator, I could tell that the hotel was not very well maintained. When I entered the guest room there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor and the bed had been slept in. I went back to the front desk and explained that the room I was given was already used. The desk clerk said that she would have to go look at the room to see if I was telling the truth. I waited for another 10 minutes before getting a key to a different room. I took my belongings to the room and went out to dinner. After coming back to the room and settling down to work on my business reports I noticed I was being bitten by something. I realized that this was either bed bugs or fleas. I worked on my reports for one hour and finally was unable to take the bitting anymore and checked out of the hotel. I ended up sleeping in my car in a rest area. I asked Travelocity for a refund and was told that the hotel had sent me a refund of $13.33 for a room that I had paid a lot more for to Travelocity. I never received any money from anyone. This was an awful hotel and a first experience with Travelocity.

Terrible place

Roaches inhabit the rooms and the smell inside is unbearable. Worst experience ever.
