I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. LaQuinta Capitol is an older inn and I can't argue that it may appear a bit run down due to age. Despite the challenges we face operating an older hotel, we strive to maintain clean guestrooms with comfortable beds. And our staff strives for a warm, friendly and helpful guest experience. And, yes - there is a part on order for our elevator and I know it is very frustrating. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and again, I am sincerely sorry that your stay was disappointing.

LaQuinta is an older inn and I can't argue that it may appear a bit run down due to age. We upgrade as possible and strive to maintain clean guest rooms with comfortable beds. I am saddened to hear that you were unhappy with your room. Most certainly this is not acceptable and will be addressed with our housekeeping staff to prevent future occurrences. We do offer refrigerators and microwaves in our upgraded rooms. I'm sorry you did not have an opportunity to change rooms. Our parking policy is clear and I can't emphasize enough how sorry I am that you received conflicting information. I will be looking into this to confirm that all staff are on the same page. Unless there is a price hold or a minimum length of stay in place during high capacity city events we are always able to provide military discounts on our room rates. The only other snag that would prevent this reduction by the front desk is if you booked your room through a 3rd party site. We cannot change rates once booked through outside sources. I can't say how you booked your room - but I hope this helps when planning trips in the future. We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future,
