Do not recommend due to lack of clean room. When brought to the attention of staff they were unable to rectify. Unfortunately it isn’t a place we’d go back…ever!!

Was more like a motel than a hotel. Just old and dated, and wasn't the cleanest room.

This hotel should not be renting rooms. Its under renovations and unsafe. There were open ceilings and walls exposing wiring and insulation.

Ants all over us...

Stayed here & the room was dusty at check in but not too horrible until my mom, me, & my 10 month old son woke up covered in ants the next morning. Tried calling front desk & had to use my cell because the room phone didn't work. Then at check out the clerk, Gerri, said she'd been there 5 years & they'd had ants but "never in that room." Didn't even offer a discount. Won't be back!

Gross

We found a cockroach in our room horrible would not give us a refund switched rooms and it was still dirty would not recommend this hotel

Lack of Communication

Pros: Breakfast was good. Hard working manager kept food area clean and supplied. Housekeeping staff bent over backwards. Clean room.
Cons: Follow booking directions more efficiently to make our stay comfortable and resting. Be honest and truthful.
Location: We are originally from the area. It lies on the banks of the MIssissippi River. Lots of recreation, shopping, restaurants, entertainment.
I made online Travelocity reservations 2 weeks in advance, asking specifically for a quiet THIRD floor room. Upon arrival, they gave us a FIRST floor room close to the boisterous rec room and pool. Heard loud footsteps from the room above us until after midnight. One of the worst rooms in the motel. The AC wasn't in working order and the room was very warm and humid. They wouldn't, or couldn't, give us a different room. The second night they moved us to the third floor. That was a very nice room, comfortable, clean, and quiet, but the t.v. did not work at all. Front desk staff was dismissive and untruthful. They blamed Travelocity for not relaying my information to them correctly.

Great for the Price ...

Excellent room for the reasonable price, but we stayed on the second floor and it sounded like the people above us were bowling or clog dancing half the night. We will stay there again, but only on the third floor!!! The remodeled room was great and very clean!
