Airfares offered on Friday tend to be the cheapest, according to flight demand on Travelocity.ca in 2021. Purchasing your airfares on a Thursday or Saturday can also provide better value, however our advice if you’re looking to save money is to avoid booking on a Wednesday or Sunday. Our data shows that those two days have the highest ticket values on average, so keep this in mind if you’re browsing flight deals.
Frequent travellers may already know this, earlier in the week is often the cheapest time to fly. Flights departing on a Monday are the cheapest of the week. Since flights towards the middle of the week tend to be more popular, this causes the prices to rise. This is why, on average, airfares booked on Travelocity.ca in 2021 were most expensive for Wednesday departures.
Here’s the deal: It is typically possible to start comparing international airfares on Travelocity.ca up to 12 months in advance. However, it does depend on the carrier as not all airlines release their prices that far out. According to our 2021 flight demand trends, last minute planners can still bag a bargain with some of the cheapest fares appearing 2-4 weeks prior to their travel dates.

Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco, is one of Africa's most important cultural and economic hubs. As a tourist destination, it's an intriguing mixture of ancient port city, colonial conquest still bearing the remnants of its time as French protectorate, and sprawling urban metropolis. Book Casablanca vacation packages and you'll see one of the world's largest and most ornate mosques, and the largest shopping center in Africa, complete with an aquarium. Flights to Casablanca will land you 19 miles southeast of the city's center at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN). Land at this large business airport in Morocco, and let your adventure begin.
If you wish to drive yourself from CMN to hotels in Casablanca, you have a choice of 20 car rental companies with desks at the airport. Among them are a number of major international companies with familiar names. CMN is conveniently served by the TRAB rail network, which operates a train station in the basement of Terminal 1. A direct train to central Casablanca runs every hour from the early morning until late evening. The journey takes half an hour. You can also travel directly to Casablanca from the airport using the CTM bus services; this option will take about one hour. Alternatively, disembark from Casablanca flights, and head straight to the taxi rank on the ground level of Terminal 1. Here, you will also find a tourist office, where staff can provide you more information about transportation, local tourist attractions, and excursions that will make your vacation in Casablanca unforgettable.
Travelocity can get you the best deals on cheap flights to Casablanca. With the Travelocity Price Guarantee, we will match a lower price and refund the difference. This means more dollars—and Moroccan dihrams—in your pocket for souvenir shopping at the souk.
