Transportation from STR

The airport hosts a 24-hour taxi service, which you can even book in advance. Alternatively, buses are a cheap option that will get you to Stuttgart in only slightly more time than taxis. There are several routes to bring you to different parts in and around the city, of course, you'll have to choose based on where you're going. Both taxis and buses are located outside of the Terminal 1 arrivals area. The train is another viable option, as the airport is connected to the city center by the S-bahn, specifically Lines S2 and S3, which will bring you to Stuttgart Central Station. The train terminal is located on the first level of Terminal 1. A final option is to rent a car and take on the autobahn yourself! To do this, head over to the arrivals level in Terminal 3.
