"I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice, though tiny. The ac didn’t really work well enough and there’s nothing inherently fancy or interesting about the room itself. The parking elevator is broken, so since I’m disabled, I valeted my car. Worth the $40. The staff was very nice, though I did have to wait for someone to show up at the front desk. The valet was kind of unprofessional, but I don’t mind people being silly.
My only complaint is this place is HUGE for someone with walking issues. I traveled alone, so I had to walk. I was in the south tower and there’s this really long half of the building to walk to the elevators, then another long hall to the room. Probably not an issue for able bodied people, but it was rough on me. Second issue was them not allowing my dinner delivery guy to come up, so I had to do the whole walk again, then back up. Exhausting. Wish I’d known how big it was.
I liked the hotel. I probably wouldn’t do it again, considering I can stay at the Canopy by Hilton for like $50 more and it’s literally luxury. If you’re in Atlanta for business, though? Sheraton seemed great for that. Big meeting rooms and like a ball room area, plus restaurants and a gift shop and pools. Just for someone who can’t walk well, I preferred the Canopy by a long shot. (Thank God I used the valet. The walk through that giant parking deck might have killed me.)
Side note. Charging extra for basic Wi-Fi is insane. Even Hilton has free Wi-Fi, y’all. "
