Hi, Stacy! We encourage anyone considering a stay at our property (or any lodging establishment) to make sure they know exactly what they are booking. As you now know, we are a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. There is a big difference between Hostel du Nord and your standard hotel. If you were expecting a hotel and not the incredibly unique and memorable experience we have to offer, we can't take responsibility for that, being that you were the one who booked it. Hope you found somewhere to stay that met your expectations and you were able to enjoy your stay in Duluth :)

This place is well beyond what I imagined. Very well done, clean, hospitable, and such cool staff who care about people! I already booked there again!!

Friendly staff, quiet, clean, architecture, artistic, modern place! Very unique will definitely come back and will stay here next time! I will highly recommend it to my friends to stay here when they will visit duluth!
