The hardest place to leave
We stayed here for seven nights, it wasn’t long enough. This is a spectacular, large property right on the river. It is secluded, but we felt safe and the house is secure. In the house every detail was covered. The kitchen is well equipped (quality cookware) and stocked. It even has multiple coffee making options and coffee furnished. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. It is a well manicured property with great indoor and outdoor spaces. The view from great room was wonderful to sit and watch the river all day, rain or shine. Our dog was in heaven. The property host is very responsive and accommodating. The house is very accessible with no stairs or obstacles into, or in the main rooms, and would be comfortable for all ages. The river can be deep and swift here and parents should be aware there is danger. We recommend to all, and hope to return.

Just Gorgeous!
This property is beyond beautiful! I came here with my 3 teenage boys for some much needed R&R. We have stayed in many VBROs over the years and this one has been one of my absolute favorites so far. The property is pretty secluded with gorgeous views out of just about any window. The sound of the river was so tranquil and relaxing to listen to. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs outside chatting and enjoying our morning coffee. The 3 comfortable king sized beds, along with a bunk bed, were perfect for my tall teenagers. The kitchen was very clean and well-stocked with great cookware that made cooking meals after visiting the Hoh Rainforest and nearby beaches very easy. The bathrooms were well-stocked with soft towels and Terra bath products, which I loved! The washer and dryer was also incredibly handy since we had already been travelling for a while and this was just one of our stops. We had so much fun playing ping pong and pool. The house was plenty large enough that 2 small families could easily stay here. This property was exactly what my sons and I needed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Spacious and beautiful
My family and I had everything provided for our comfort and enjoyment at this rental. My grandsons loved the pool table and ping pong and nearby elk. The kitchen was full of appliances and full sets of pans and dishes. Everything was very clean and the bedrooms and bathrooms were outstanding. There were thoughtful touches like local guide books, cook books and spices. The only minor disappointment was the lack of easy river access due to the high bank. There is covered space for unloading your car and covered outdoor seating. This home is thoughtfully laid out, close to town for groceries and perfectly located to take excursions to the rain forest and to the coast.

Home away from home.
Private space with beautiful natural surroundings. Things needing immediate attention but overall homey feel with nice view of the river.

Big, comfortable, great location and view
Was here with family, and the size is perfect for that. Plenty of bedrooms, and space to spread out. I didn't think we'd use the poker table, but it's really great for playing games. The place has everything you need, and great books about the area. The interior is just like the pictures - exactly what you want for a cabin in the woods. We were there in November, so it got dark early and we didn't get as much time to enjoy the view of the river, but it is really special. The windows and orientation of the house highlight it. I can imagine during the longer days it's amazing. We were lucky to see a herd of elk walk by the house though. We used it as a base for going to Hoh Rain Forest, and this was a perfect location. When we get back for a visit to the park in warmer longer days, this will be the place we stay again.
