My review is mixed, as part of our experience was great, while part was very much lacking. Upon first arrival and throughout the entire stay, the staff lobby, restaurants, and pool staff were all amazing, extremely welcoming and the friendliest I've witnessed! However, the hotel seems to be going through a renovation. The main public areas, lobby, pool, restaurants, are very nice, modern, and updated, but our 2 queen, balcony room left so much to be desired, ie. old torn carpet, a broken sliding door to the balcony, partially operable curtains, and dust so thick you could write your name in it on the solid surfaces. Getting clean towels, toilet paper and having the room serviced was also challenging, having to text and call guest services multiple times across two days to finally make it happen. I wanted to love this property, hoping it could be a repeat, but the whole room situation left me sour. If you can be assured you have a clean, updated room, I don't believe would be disappointed with this resort. Looks like they're still in the process of remodeling but our room was nice. The pull out couch needed to be made up which the staff quickly attended to while we were at dinner. The service was great - both in the hotel and at the restaurant S3. Partial views of the water - balcony - nice spacious living area with kitchen/stove/larger mini fridge. Tiny walk in shower, thin tp, thin/lumpy pullout mattress and sheets were meh but pillows for main bed were comfy.
