The Staff was amazing! Brian, and Raphael along with other front desk staff were a blessing along with another young lady that assisted me. The food at the Tiki Bar was always on point, not to mention the drinks flowing beautifully at the bar. Annie was my morning charm when it came to morning talks and coffee and needless to say, this is why this was my 3rd time back and will continue to come back.

The property is in very poor condition. There are so many items falling apart that need to be fixed. There with items we asked to be fixed while we were there that never got done--the safe wouldn't work and the TV remote. Baseboards are coming off, and paint sure could help! Faucets were wobbling, showers wouldn't shut off, air was hard to control, and the cleanliness was much less than desired. The location is great...and the food was very good, but that's the only positives we found. Would not stay there again.

Looks nice from the outside, the pool and pool bar are nice, as well as the lobby and first level. But upstairs the interior hallways and rooms were very disappointing. They were very outdated and dirty looking, almost like a cheap motel. There was mold on the ceiling and the outlet fell out of the wall when I plugged in my phone. The bill ended up being more then I was quoted here, and they charge to park in their lot even if you’re a guest and park your own car. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they clean it up and update it.

BIG Disappointment

The room was old, dirty, and missing basics like the toilet paper holder and hair dryer. The bed was lumpy and would never, ever stay again. One of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Plus, had to pay $10 a night for parking, REALLY?????

Check in trouble

When checking in they tried to give me a room without a balcony or ocean view even though I paid extra for just that. Then they gave me another room. Only problem was someone else was already in it (akward). The third time was ocean front but nothing like the picture on line. I booked for four people and was charged and extra $30 but was given 1 bed and a roll away.

Better than expected!

I have been to this hotel and it's Tiki Bar many times, but had never stayed there. Despite some negative reviews, I wanted to stay there to see for myself how it was. From my understanding, they are currently renovating the older rooms. I booked an ocean front room that turned out to be wonderful. It had been renovated and was very modern. I had a large balcony facing the beach with two chairs and a table. Beautiful view of the pool and beach. Just be sure to ask for a renovated room. The front desk staff was very pleasant. As far as parking, I always park in their free lot that is just across the street. That way, you don't have to deal with the valet. The real highlight of this hotel is the Bamboo Tiki Bar on the beach. It's one of the few remaining open air tiki bars directly on the beach in all of Ft. Lauderdale. The service is good and their food is great. They have something for everyone, from salads to seafood, burgers to really good pizza. What I like is that they are open all day and late into the evening. Off the hotel lobby is the Tokyo Blue restaurant and bar. It is very "South Beach" hip. Cool bar and great food including sushi. If you're looking to just chill out on the beach and have some drinks and good food, this place is hard to beat!

I just stayed at the hotel from may 22- 24. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It looked like a hotel from a horror movie. To start with the appearance of the hallway. The lights were dim and it was dark. All of the room numbers were actually written on the wall above the door instead of having a plaque like a normal hotel would have. As we were looking for our room a girl came out of a room looking like she was on drugs. Inside the room the bathroom faucet was broken. The water was a dirty brown color and the paint wasn't finished on the walls there was drywall repairs that needed to be finished. The shower was so gross I had to wear my sandals in it. Then late at night a roach ran across the floor. The maids had the bed sheets and towels in shopping carts from target that they were using to service the room. You could hear everyone that was staying in the rooms next to you. This place looks good because of the price but do NOT waste your money. I highly recommend staying somewhere else.
