You can’t cook outside. We travel for work and just cooking a meal for yourself is nice once in a while

Rude clerk

Pros: The cleanliness
Location: I was only there for work.
The room was in acceptable condition as far as for cleanliness and they put fresh towels every day. The clerk that was on shift when I would get back to he hotel at roughly 5:30 PM each afternoon was rude and had a very condescending attitude.

OK.

Pros: Staff was friendly and room was clean
Cons: Needs a lot of maintenance attention it is not getting.
Location: Several food choices very close. Easy access to I-10.
Only hotel I could find in Baton Rouge with a room trying to book a week before an LSU game. Staff was friendly and helpful but the room was in poor condition and the owner/manager clearly are not putting any money into keeping it up. The drawers for the dresser were broken off (we didn't use it but clearly they did not care). It took running the water in the shower for 5 minutes before hot water came out. Beds are bargain basement matresses that are past the point of needing replacement. Room was clean.

Better than camping.

Location: There are lots of places to eat around it.
I went to Louisiana as a volunteer to help with the flood clean-up efforts. Everything else was booked. I was disappointed that of all rooms, my son and I got the smoking room. As non smokers, it was rough night, but I guess it was better than camping outside. This is not necessary a place you want to stay too long. There are a few hotels nearby, that might be better, but again everything else was sold out, so we did not have many options.
