Nice loaction, friendly staff and great parking. Only complaint is that you can't open the bathroom door all the way because it hits the toilet. A very large person would actually have to step into the shower to close the door.

Was excited to stay here. When I arrived (30 minutes after check-in) I was given a my room key and headed to my room. When I got to the door of my room - it was still being cleaned. Went back down to check-in and told by front desk person that I would have to wait until it was clean. 45 minutes later - I tried it again. Room was now clean. Getting settled - the towel rack in the bathroom came off the wall. Each time I put the rack back on - it fell off. Frustrating to say the least. The ax unit rattled every time it popped on. I had to put a pillow on it to dampen the noise - as it was really irritating. Then, went down to the bar and grill for dinner. The bartender paid more attention to the Budweiser he was drinking - than helping out customers. I waited nearly an hour for a pizza to bring back to my room. Unacceptable. To top it off, the person at the front desk was kind - but, I was not impressed with overall attitude toward job. She spent more time complaining about having to work more hours due to a shortage in staff. I was disappointed because this was the place to go - 20 years ago. I was anticipating a great experience - but, received anything but a great experience. It was $147 per night x 2 nights = and I will not be back!! Disappointing experience!! I understand that staff shortages are a reality and I feel for small businesses trying to make things work. However, this was nowhere near a $147 a night experience and this place is in disrepair.

Staff was great. Very nice and pleasant. Cleanliness of room was good. Farmers restaurant on site nice. Did not like that the fire place does not work. (No not broke. Just there for visual effects according to note above fireplace) The walls must not be insulated. Can hear everything the neighbors are saying. Overall happy with stay.

I would not recommend. Rude staff. We just spent two nights here. At check in the lady couldn’t figure out how to put our credit card on file, she even got the Manager who also couldn’t figure it out. The day of check out the front desk called our room at 8 am, was extremely rude saying we needed to come right away because they didn’t have a credit card on file. She claims she called us multiple times the day before, which we had NO messages. Within 20 min my husband went to the front desk. Meanwhile, there’s a knock at the door, it was the front desk lady demanding we give her our credit card. I told her my husband just left to go down. She began YELLING at me saying you always put a credit card on file at at hotel, by the way- it was YOUR STAFF THAT COULDN’T FIGURE IT OUT! She then told my husband the number she had on file was actually Expedia’s number and told him that I didn’t need to cuss her out (which I did not). She offered no apology. THIS WAS ALL OVER AN $18 charge from the bar. We were in the Mountain House. Tons of stairs to walk up. Rooms are extremely out dated. The pool was nice. I WOULD NOT SATY HERE EVER AGAIN.

View of Pine Mountain was breathtaking. Staff exceptionally accommodating,, both in hotel and restaurant. Power went out in the town so people literally flooded the restaurant nite before Thanksgiving. Somehow the folks in the restaurant pulled it off, The positive attitudes sold me on this community

After swimming in the cold indoor pool, we came back to our two bedroom condo to find out we had ice cold showers. We called maintenance and were told that it would take 3 hours to fix. Since it was late, they’d be back the next day. We asked about moving to a different condo, but were told that they weren’t clean. The next morning we were given a room to shower in at the main lodge after trekking over there in our pajamas. We were also told they would give us a discount for the inconvenience. The water was fixed during the day while we were out, and the next morning at checkout, they told us there was nothing they could do about a discount since we used a 3rd party website. I explained without the 3rd party website, I wouldn’t have known about their hotel, and they offered me a breakfast. I had an appointment to get to and was already late dealing with this issue, and declined. I asked why they hadn’t offered that the day before when I would have been able to use it, but no response. They said they would work with the district manager and they would be in touch. That was over a week ago, and no response from them. For over $300 a night, you’d think hot water would be included. I’m not counting on the Wyndham name ever again.
