Includes 1 fishing pond, fire pit, scenic porch, charcoal BBQ and picnic table. Cabin includes 42" TV with DVD player and various movies, kitchen and sleeping arrangements for up to 5 people. One bedroom with king, one with 2 twins and 1 roll-away. Nearest restaurant is the Bayou Bar & Grill just a few miles away in Pocahontas and features live music.

Cabin stay
Our family stayed at Cabin #1 while we were in town visiting family. The cabin was cozy and quiet and had a great view. We had everything we needed and there was a great selection of coffee flavors for the Keurig which was a nice surprise. Cheryl was great and responded to my messages right away. The check in process was easy and we had a great time!

Great Little Getaway Place
Highly recommended place to stay. We live locally and was looking for a quiet place to celebrate a birthday away from home, but still close enough to home if we needed to come back and this was the place to stay. Cozy cabins with beautiful scenery that is not far from larger areas. Very quiet area to where you only hear the crickets and frogs at night with a great view of the stars. The cabins were well supplied, and the owner was super nice to deal with. She thought of all the basic supplies that a person would need, and the cabins were very clean.

I had my brother’s bachelor party here. It was perfect for 6 of us. Plenty of things to do. Fishing was great and the cabin had just what you need to enjoy the outdoors in Missouri. Cheryl was great to work with!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I took time for a personal retreat, time in nature. It is located close to several hiking trails, easy drive to town if needed. Loved the ponds and beautiful landscapes!

Great Cabin In A Great Location!
We had a great experience at this great little cabin! There's so many positive things to share, I won't be able to fit them all in this review. Perfect size for my group, wife and I and two young granddaughters. Loved the really large front deck! Perfect for sitting on enjoying the fresh air in the mornings and evenings. The cabin is set in the middle of farmland with two nice ponds. The family had a great time fishing (caught 3 bass that we immediately put back), catching frogs (that we immediately put back), and a little box turtle (that we immediately put back). Great location. Excellent fire pit right near the pond. The owner was amazing! Excellent communication. Owner provided firewood for the fire pit and everything needed to grill (including grill) too. Great place to rest, relax, grill, fish, and enjoy a bit of calm. To note, there is no WIFI at the cabin and no AT&T service at all. I was able to get enough Verizon service for the few things I need to accomplish online while there. So internet was not an issue for us. The owner has an amplified indoor antenna for the TV and picked up about 15 channels really well. They had a nice library of DVD movies available too, although we only had the TV on maybe an hour our entire stay as we were to busy playing and relaxing outside. The master bed is king size and very comfortable. The guest bedroom is two twin beds so perfect for our granddaughters, but maybe not so much for adults. The bathroom is located off of the guest bedroom, so you have to walk through the guest bedroom to use it. Was not an issue for us. The cabin was well furnished for everything we needed and we slept great in the beds. However, with the great location and great porch and fire pit, we spent most of our time outside enjoying ourselves. The owner really provided a great product and experience. I really can't brag enough on the property or the owner. Was really a fantastic time. Thank you Cheryl!
