A very well kept old school motel. No frills, but if you just need a clean bed and hot shower... why pay more? Give this family run place your cash instead of some national chain. Owners are super nice, and there are good places to eat within a short walk.

A Nice 'Old-School' Motel

Pros: The value for the price.
Cons: Mattress toppers would be a big plus. The mattresses were good, but a bit firm for our taste.
We needed two economical nights in the Hastings area and were pleasantly surprised by the Parkview. It was well located and had very convenient amenities in every room. (Frig, microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron...etc.) Our room was irregularly shaped rather than the cookie cutter standard motel, which translated into more spaciousness. The entire motel seemed quite clean. The beds could have been softer for our own personal taste. We've gotten spoiled on mattress toppers. But it was such a good value, we'd definitely return.
