Decent for aging facility

Pros: evening staff, large grassy courtyard
Cons: afternoon staff and little things which show age
Location: Location is good but access difficult due to location at busy intersection. Eat at oldest Illichmann's German Deli, and oldest fish and chips
Night staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great but access was tricky due to intersection location. Nice large private grassy courtyard area. I would stay here again primarily due to economy. We ate fish and chips wrapped in old newspapers at the oldest continuously operating business in Kelowna.

Our room was filled with smoke, of both varieties, from people outside our room. Management refused to move us. The shower temperature was inconsistent and the shower head duct taped on. The bathroom door swelled and got stuck on the floor. There were piles of dirt where the floor was uneven. Left early from our stay and were told we would get a refund but never did

It was overall a pleasant stay, I didn't like the exact four o'clock check-in and especially when we arrived a bit early and they would not let us check-in even though we had traveled some distance with kids. I think they could have been a bit more accommodating to traveling customers.

Needs a quite a bit of an upgrade. Cleanliness is marginal. TV had only basic coverage. Wi fi good.

NOT A RESORT!

Cons: EVERYTHING
We booked online and booked a two room suite for our family of 7. When we arrived at the motel the outside was not consistent with a resort environment. There was broken down equipment outside the office area. We were told that there was two rooms booked for us with two queens, not the suite. I said that was not acceptable as we had booked the suite so we could enjoy our holiday together as a family. The desk clerk apologised and said he was sorry but could only offer us the two rooms. We said that because we had just driven in on a 10 hour drive and just needed to get everyone out of the van we would go and look at the rooms. They were disgusting! They smelled like stale cigarette smoke, were very dated and to be honest I would not want my pets staying there! Now we are fighting to get a full refund back! The manager wants to keep one night of charges back claiming that they offered us comparable rooms and we refused. SERIOUSLY! We ended up staying at the Days Inn, which was very clean! But we did have to have two rooms and no kitchen! So basically our holidays were not what we had planned. My husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms and we had to eat our meals out and for a family of seven, that is very expensive! PLEASE, spare yourself the headache and do not book here........
