We were a late check in and i was a little nervous but they really made it so easy for us to get in after hours. The house is beautiful and well maintained along with the grounds around it. The bedroom was large and very clean and comfortable. We had to share the bathroom but it was actually okay and didnt even phase us in the least. They had an array of choices for breakfast and the hot breakfast offered was absolutely delicious. This was my first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast and i absolutely loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we are already planning for a trip back!

It has character

Location: We were passing thru after a trip to Mt Washington, located a couple hours north of the hotel. Didn't stay in town to look for attractions.
Very friendly staff. This B&B is in a 100+ year old building. Didn't see any handicap accessability. Parking is free. There is a big front porch to sit out on as well as lawn furniture on the back of the grounds. Our room was on the sccond floor. There was a bathroom exclusively for our use but it was located down the hall. Door lock was stiff and hard to use. Room was nice. Flat screen tv was small. Window a/c worked fine. Weather was not too hot so it didn't need to work very hard. Breakfast this day was a melon fruit cup, pancakes, bacon and home fries that were served promptly. There was also cold cereal and nut bread. Three kinds of juice, coffee and tea was self serve. Nice change from the cookie cutter chain hotels.
