Could hardly believe this hotel runs by Marriott
First day, I have requested to have two rooms in the same floor for my family, which when we arrived in the morning they said could arrange for that. After 3pm we tried to check in again, they arranged a room in different floor for us, saying that the original arrangement cannot be progressed due to the same floor room has not ready yet. After we entered to the first room, the fire alarm is on, I went down to ask what happened as the phone in the room is not working and they said the fire alarm is just a testing. The lift is terribly slow, and I have got stuck in one of the lift for 10 mins, then the door was being opened by one of the staff and he said the sensor of the lift have some problem that's why the door could not be opened. Next day the room rang the fire alarm at 8am for a very long period of time, and seems it's just a false one again. Breakfast is basically the same every morning, the scrambled egg and the pork sausage is so bad. Could hardly believe this hotel is running by Marriott, strongly not recommend this.

The hotel is located right next to the Telsco and you can buy any food and items, plus a pharmacy included, as needed. The nearby neighborhood is great, just need to walk 10-15 minute to the Earl’s Court station. The room is spacious is clean overall, and allows good airflow as you can open the window briefly. The room has good sunlight. Water pressure at the bathroom is ok but not as high, some facilities are loosened and you need to be careful if that may fall down. The dryer and washer at the basement are sufficient in therms of numbers yet some machine may not work efficient as others. The breakfast option is almost the same everyday, but the variety is great. Staff members are friendly and helpful.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn Kensington. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Special mention to Rebecca at the front desk, Theo the Guest Relations Manager and Roberto the Restaurant Manager for their amazing customer service. The daily breakfast was very good with many appetizing options. Also, the hotel is centrally located right on the Piccadilly line, which is very convenient. We look forward to visiting London again and would definitely stay here when we do.

The bed was very comfortable however it was incredibly noisy and we could hear the conversations of the people in the next room. It also looked like the room needed a deep clean and the public areas weren’t much better The breakfast was good with lots of Choice
