Be prepared for the unprepared
You get what you pay for, but you also need to know that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation and the outside looks almost straight from a haunted manor movie. The bathrooms were freshly renovated and therefore quite nice, but the room was below expectations, with noise from the street, stained curtains, dodgy carpet. The bedsheets were clean. The lift looked under works

Such lovely people.
Lovely people. Really attentive without being over the top. If you want a base for your South Bank adventures.... this is the place. The rooms are small but everything worked..... tv could log in to my streaming services. Free water, fruit and sweets. Breakfast was again basic but perfectly nice.

Had a very nice stay, staff is so nice and caring, clean room with more amenities than expected given the price, breakfast included, everything perfect. If you’re looking to stay around London Bridge while tight on budget, City London Hotel is the place to go !

Had an absolutely lovely stay this weekend. It was my first time staying at a hotel in London for the weekend and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
