No - pre announcement of building work
Was advised at check-in that there was building work during hours of 8-5. Was many noisy people in hallways throughout the day/night. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

The property is in a good location, however the staff were very rude at check in. They did not tell us that there was not hot water during certain hours of the day during our stay. They were not helpful when asked if we would even have heat during these hours. They made us pay a higher exchange fee when paying in our own currency. The lobby is very nice but the hallway and the rooms were very shabby and old.
