Dirty

Pros: Good location
Cons: Clean up
Location: Unknown
Only two dirty smelly towels in the room. No hand towels or wash cloths. Hair and dirt in bathroom. Not sure if it has been cleaned in awhile. Beds were made though.

Terrible

Pros: Nothing
Cons: You should take them off your list.
We booked two adjoining rooms. When we arrived, we were told our rooms were not only not adjoining but were not even on the same hall. When we expressed displeasure, we were told to wait and they would check on rooms on another hall. We were given the keys to these rooms. When we entered the first room, there was a bad smell, the TV was on, and upon further inspection, it looked like the room had not been cleaned. (The toilet had urine on the seat.) We went back to the front desk to get our money back so we could go to another hotel. We were told our card had not been charged yet, and we left. A few days later, the charge showed up on our online statement. We tried to resolve it with our bank but got a response that because we received services, there would be no refund.

Nasty, roach motel

Checked in around 1:00pm, was told rooms weren't ready as they were booked solid which was fine as we were going to be out for the day and evening. Returned around 10:30pm and Room 1 had been "cleaned", tub was vile and had not been cleaned in a while and had to ask formore towels, 2 towels, 1 washcloth. Room 2 had not been cleaned at all. Had to go back to front desk as phone did not work. Desk clerk was young, but nice and apologetic. She came to room with sheets and with another helper and made the beds. Coffee maker didn't work, but was not clean. Horrible night. Checked out at 8:30, asked to speak with the manager, was told the manager was not there, but would have owner contact me. 4 weeks later still have heard NOTHING! had to stay as all other hotels within 60 mile radius were booked solid due to multiple area college graduations. A night at the "Bates Motel" from the movie "Psycho" would have been 5 stars compared to this dump.

Cons: The only thing I would have liked to have different was the room service to make the beds and refresh the towels daily.
Location: Great location, right off the major highway at the intersection of hwy 24 and hwy 63. All kinds of stores nearby. I came to see relatives close by.
Nice hotel, great location, easy access to everything you may need. The staff accommodated all our needs and didn't bother us. The only thing I would have liked to have different was the room service to make the beds and refresh the towels daily. I had 2 handicapped with me and they were very comfortable in the room we had, the staff even brought us a uplift seat for the toilet. I will stay at this motel each time I make a trip to Missouri from Louisiana. I/we couldn't have found a better more hospitable motel anywhere.

Nice staff--hotel needs major work

Stayed one night on a busy night for hotels in area. At first, was pleasantly surprised bc staff was accommodating (moved me to a non smoking room despite the way it was initially booked). Facilities very dated, and not as clean as should be--but was tolerable. Each suite had two entrances--One of ours was broken, so key card wouldn't work. Before realizing this, I dead bolted the other as we left the room. Once we realized, front desk promptly addressed the issue with a handyman. He was working on the issue as we left for the evening. He was very nice and we left trusting that the job would be completed. We retuned to our room 8 hours later (130 am) to find our lock completely off the door, tools still on the floor, and our door propped open! thank goodness none of our things were stolen, or worse-someone in there to harm us! We were moved at 130 am to another room, and manager took full responsibility for it the next morning. I admire her honesty and accountability--but I would hesitate staying here again, until major renovations (esp in regards to safety and security) are addressed.

Great Motel for such a small town

Pros: Easy to find, comfortable. The staff was great and even accommodated me to a lower floor without any questions. I truly appreciated that.
I will have to admit that I was a little worried about a small town having a good motel to stay in. My stay was great. I was able to rest prior to my next days activities and I would say it was a very successful day.

Stayed here with no regrets. Full-service makes a huge difference.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Hotel was exactly how I thought it would be. Room was clean and the staff was amicable and willing to discuss directions and sights in Moberly. I travel a lot and I cannot overestimate the effect of having a full-service. The mexican restaurant is pretty good. I spoke to the owner, "Max the Mexican", and he was very friendly and gave us a discount off our bill. The food was what you expect, nothing horrible, but nothing mind blowing either. I'd visit it again. Pool and the pool area looks beautiful, especially with the bar back there. I went to the indoor bar as well, the interior is pretty nice with tons of televisions and sporting events on. All in all, if this hotel was located in a major city, they could get away with charging 200-250 dollars/night. However, it is in Moberly, and that means more power to me because I got the benefits of a great hotel for cheap.
