We did not stay, the lady was nice enough not to argue and give me a refund. The outlets are controlled by the light switches, so forget having a night light in the bathroom or charging your phone without turning off each light by hand. The room had a wierd mint smell, and the final straw, the door did not latch! Apparently you have to lift the door, I was not told this until after I asked for a refund. Why rent out a room that needs repairs?

A well-kept but outdated property

Pros: It reminded me of road travel 60 - 70 years ago - made me really appreciate how much more convenient and facilitating modern hotel properties are now.
Cons: size, size, size
Location: The location seemed to be very quiet until about 5:00 AM, at which time we were awoken by trucks and other nearby activity.
This property is very old, but has been well maintained and kept very clean. My biggest complaint was that the person who checked us in was hard to understand (English was clearly his second language. My other dissatisfaction was that the room was very small, had no desk, and the only chair was under the clothes rod (there was no closet). We had two queen (or double, I don't remember which), and there was at most two feet of space around either bed, on the sides or end. This property would work fine if all you wanted to do was lie on the bed and watch TV, and you had maybe only one suitcase. If you get there late in the evening you may have to park a long way from your room, and there are no luggage carts.

Good Value

Pros: Cost, AC.
Cons: Bed could have been a little firmer but it certainly wasn't a deal-breaker.
Location: A couple of decent restaurants in town make Macon a good choice for an overnight stop.
This is an old but clean and well-maintained motel. The room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen TV, just like at the big chain properties. Good AC. Macon has several decent places to eat, too, so it's not a bad place to stop for the night.

Cheap Room for Thanksgiving

Decent little motel. Paid more than I liked for the room, but it was Thanksgiving. The rooms were very small, but they were nice and clean.
