I never checked into the hotel because the concert I was going to was postponed like every thing else in the world so I never left Cedar Rapids and I cannot get a hold of anybody regarding a refund for the room I never checked into since you’re no longer taking phone calls and I couldn’t get anything done online either I expect a full refund you cannot be making money off people who have no choice to not travel

I am sure Travelocity is experiencing heavy call volume, which may be the reason you have not gotten through. Great location and easy to get to despite the local construction. Lobby and property over all was nicely decorated. One complaint about parking: please shave off some of that curb at the approach to the parking ticket dispenser. I chunked a wheel badly because the curb jurs out so far. Not well designed.

The room was real nice and clean. The staff on the frist day were friendly and helpful not so much the second day. Waited 15 mintues for my car frim valet because he also doubled as the shuttle driver. Manager told me it was Hilton policy that i should have called ahead if i wanted my car. After 20 years of staying at Hilton's i have never had to do this and it was not in any of the instructions they left in the room plus he was a real smart ass about it. The wifi was free the first day but on the second wanted to charge me.

Hilton Madison

Pros: The location was good and nice having on site bar and restaurant
Cons: More on site parking.
Location: With road construction bit tricky to get to since on a one way but like is was close to square. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. Love the view
Hotel lot full so had to park in public lot about a block away. Sort of in convienent but okay and hotel validated. Happy with experience. Had lake view and very nice but room had odd noice in wall that was semi annoying

Escape

Pros: Location, Location, Location & price
Cons: Pull out couch mattress needs replacing - cheaper parking for hotel guests
Location: Plenty of restaurants & history out side the door. Only 2 blocks from The Capitol, Monona Terrace right across the bridge, great lake views!
Booked hotel last minute based on location & price. When we arrived I am not sure if they didn't have a room or what, but we were given the "Presidential Suite" Really not the whole suite but instead the living room of the suite with a pull-out bed from what looked like a really nice couch. The pull out was OK comfortable except slipping to the middle all night-needed a better mattress. Two free drink cards & free breakfast the next morning & a Noon checkout made up for it. Just wanted to get away for a night & all was good.
