Out-of-the-ordinary hotel
Such a unique and awesome hotel! Once part of the old Pabst Brewery, its history is evident throughout, from the atrium that houses the huge copper vats where the beer once fermented, to the rough plastered walls, to the headboards and kitchen bar made from reclaimed lumber from the original joists. Yet the hotel room itself was modern and comfortable (although the mattress was a bit lumpy). We enjoyed the “On Tap” restaurant on-site, with a Philly cheesesteak made with Pabst Blue Ribbon cheese, and a side of potato pancakes with PBR applesauce. The whole place just oozes history. Loved it!

Beautiful property, but beware!!! When booking this property it says there is parking, and they do have a parking garage that cost $20 for every 2 hours, so make sure you're adding that into the cost of your stay because they will not validate any parking. There was a party going on in the bar/banquet area and our room was so noisy that we couldn't even fall asleep. We ended up leaving around midnight because it just wasn't working out.
