Hi Cajun Campers,
Hello and welcome to Cajun Camp, where the Atchafalaya River sits in the back and a fish filled lake sits in the front.
Louisiana's nickname is "Sportsman's Paradise" and it's because we have a rich history in fishing, hiking, hunting and our beautiful bayous where much of these sports take place. We have many attractions to highlight your trip. Baton Rouge La. (state capital) in only 45 minutes away. It is home to the LSU Tigers, Capital Park Museum and the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center just to name a few.

The city of Lafayette La. is a mere 45 minute drive. Home to the Cajun Dome, Ragin Cajuns and it's the heart of La.'s Cajun and Creole Country where you will find some of the best food in the USA.
Here are some neighboring cities for all the essentials that you would need to accommodate your trip.
