Located in gorgeous Sheridan Beach, IN stands this beautifully appointed home. This two-bedroom, two full bath home is the perfect getaway for the smaller group. Beachy Keen is close to everything in Sheridan Beach as well as Harbor Country. Kick back and relax on the expansive third floor deck or cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace. This is an exquisite home both inside and out. Just a short walk to a sandy Lake Michigan beach and a short drive (10 min) to New Buffalo and beyond. Nice Getaway but leave the pets at home
Great location and nicely appointed house for getaway weekend. Kitchen adequately stocked if you want to cook at the house. (BYO seasoning basics.) Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Nice option for a couple or small group. However...Please leave your pets at home. The perforated metal stairs and flooring on the second level are not safe for pets of any size. Our small/med size dog lost three nails and nearly dislocated a hip coming down the stairs.

Winter retreat for grant writing
This is a Buyer Beware location. It is a party house for young people. The positive: Daylight is good with large windows. Recommend that is you want creature comforts (such as easily accessible microwave, door locks that a person can easily work, hand rails for outdoor steps, hot water enough for 2 baths within 2 hours, comfortable seating for desk work) that you look somewhere else. Also recommend that if you are a "rule follower" you ask to see the Occupancy Agreement before signing on. You will not only discover the rules and associated fines for breaking the rules, but you will get a sense of the emotional vibe that accompanies the house. This is purely a profit making venture, it is not a loved home that someone is happy to share with you. Note that while this is a "dog friendly" rental, dogs can easily catch their toes and hurt themselves on the metal stairs inside the house.

Unique Stay
Nice property- beds were very comfortable. Towels were clean and plenty. Stairs were a bit annoying and so was just the one shower, but we knew the latter when we rented it. Outside of the home in back should be power washed. There were some flies inside the home and many little midges when we entered. So we contacted the rental property about borrowing a vacuum to get rid of them. Advertised as having access to the beach but it was not so that was disappointing. Loved the hot tub! Thanks for nice welcoming emails and information. A very unique place to stay!

Clean Lines in this Modern Getaway
We enjoyed our weekend stay in Michigan City. This home in like a tiny house on steroids with smart uses of space. It's a great spot for small groups of adults or a family with older kids. It worked well for our group. The layout is unique & the roof area is a lot of fun, but wouldn't be ideal with young children due to the roof access from the guest room and the guest bath on the 1st floor. Both bedrooms are on the 2nd level with access to a full bath in the master. Though it's just a tub in the master bath, we were able to utilize the spray nozzle for careful showering as well. Smart engineering went into this build, and it was interesting to see and fun to stay in! The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all, we'd definitely stay again!

nice but...
This is a nice stay with some drawbacks. The landscaping was run to riot and hard to get to the front door with all the grasses and weeds growing out over the walk way. The Hot tub was nice and the upper rooftop deck was also very nice. The lack of window coverings is really quite hard to imagine. Neighbors house has a window that looks right into the second bedroom and there are no shades etc. The metal grates for stairs are very modern and architectural however, they allow any sand or floor debris on your feet to pass right through onto the stove and half the countertop below. There are no closets or dressers in the main bedroom, however there are some drawers under the 2nd bedroom bed. The sound system is cryptic at best. Otherwise it is a nice location and great beds. For the price it was not worth the amount we paid, even considering the busy weekend we had booked.

The house is a wonderful open concept; clean and modern and very relaxing. Hot tub was in great condition, and the rooftop patio is tremendous. Walking distance to great beaches.

Such a great property. We cooked alot and had everything we needed. Only knock is if you have a small child like we did the rooms are not soundproof! Not a big deal at all but thought I should note that!
