"We were in town for a concert at Gruene Hall so I was looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay the night since we wouldn't be there very long and truly lucked out in finding this Resort with a perfectly low priced 1 bedroom suite(probably because it is off-season). The resort is about 10 minutes east of the I-35 freeway and tucked away from major businesses so we didn't know what to expect. The check-in was very pleasant & the desk clerks were very helpful with maps to the room & businesses in the area. We were in the last building across from a playground, grills, and behind 1 of the Resorts pools and we had a patio area right outside our door with tables & chairs. The suite has a full kitchen with everything you'd need for eating & cooking (single cup coffee maker with coffee & tea, as well as a toaster), refrigerator with freezer & ice maker, a quaint dining table, comfortable living room w/sleeper sofa & a cozy chair, a desk, coffee table & tv. The bedroom has 2 double size beds which 1 of them provided this plus-size couple enough room to cuddle or sleep with a comfortable space between us, a closet(with hangers, an iron & ironing board & bedding for the sleeper bed), TV, and a full bathroom with shower & tub combo, along with a hair dryer. There was also plenty of outlets for charging devices throughout the room. The only downside to being in the building we were in, is that there were train tracks right behind us and a long, loud train passed by us as we slept."
