"The Island is hard to beat for a stay on Okaloosa Island. Its location is ideal for a stay at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It has solid rooms, but the beaches and pool push it to a pretty high level. However, do not use Hotels.com to book. The final price is higher than what they quote."

The staff was very kind. The bar tenders at Manatees were great. Slow Wake made great mimosas. The breakfast cooking was a little slow. The staff worked very hard to keep the facilities clean and were most welcoming. Overall we would definitely stay here again. "
