"The hotel/resort is a perfect sanctuary - with a fitting and delightful decor and an absolutely perfectly attentive staff that anticipates your needs. I had a suite - which was perfect. Outstanding bed, working fireplace, patio onto the courtyard, quiet and private. Large and comfortable living room with a leather-inlaid desk and a very comfortable leather couch in addition to a couple of chairs. The bathroom was also perfect - with an extremely large shower with river stone floor and "high-end" details. The tv's are not huge, but adequate. I didn't use the spa, exercise room or swimming pool only because I didn't have time - I was in Taos on business but they were inviting. The restaurant and bar were also perfect for this very relaxing resort/hotel. The food was excellent both in presentation and flavor. Service was also excellent - attentive yet not "omnipresent". Bar service was also excellent. The hotel provides free car service into town businesses (including bars/restaurants) - although I didn't use the service. My suite had a back door onto a decently-sized patio (with chairs) leading to the delightful courtyard. Valet service was extremely prompt, courteous and thoughtful - and doubled as very thoughtful and courteous bellmen. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel provided these services as recently I had stayed at several premier hotels that had excuses but no valet and no bellmen. Housekeeping was also perfect. I highly recommend the hotel."
