Meticulously kept 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms cozy home. 1.2 miles away from the historical downtown of Rockville. Located close to Turkey Run State Park and Raccoon Lake. Half a mile away is Billie Creek Covered Bridge famously known for the Covered Bridge festival. Located close by Amish stores and communities. A little town of Rockville has numerous antique stores. Excellent location for bike rides and walks and stargazing from the back patio. We are close to Shades state park. (WAVELAND) Where there is a large variety of activities to enjoy. Amazing hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, picnic areas, swimming, boating and so much more. 40 minutes from Indianapolis. You will not be disappointed. A luxury in the country
This home is very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, movies and a large TV, comfortable living area, comfortable beds and 2 full private baths. Way more than 2 people could need but made it feel like a real vacation. The owners were responsive and easy to work with. The home is close to Rockville and great hiking at 2 state parks.

This place worked perfect for our family to stay overnight so that we could go hiking at area state parks! Clean, well stocked, easy check in, and all in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

So relaxing
My college friend and I honored our 50th friendship-versary with a little getaway and this property worked out perfectly (half-way between both of our homes). Hosts were responsive and helpful. Home was superb cleanliness. We lucked out and had mild weather (in February) and really enjoyed the back deck overlooking a small ravine. Hope to go back!

Weekend Getaway
We had to book last minute due to cancelation of another booking and I am so happy we ended up here! Communication was prompt, quiet neighborhood and very nice place to stay. We did a tour of the county’s covered bridges and some hiking in the area. Overall highly recommend!

New Year's Eve Stay
Property was exactly as promised. We had a wonderful stay over New Year's Eve weekend, with a beautiful view of the wooded ravine out the main windows. Furniture and beds were both clean and comfortable. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway.

Quiet, well maintained place to stay
We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well maintained, and the hosts were great. They were very accommodating to our needs and dogs. Wonderful location, only a few minutes to anything in Rockville and a short drive to state parks.

Fantastic Stay!
We met friends for a long weekend and we were not disappointed. The cottage is everything it purported to be. Very clean and comfortable! Our host, Bob, was very responsive with our request for a crockpot and a quiche dish. Bob was very communicative about our stay. The location is close to Turkey Run SP and Shades SP so we enjoyed hiking. Excellent stay! We look forward to returning when back in southern Indiana. Thanks Bob and Joanne for a great stay!

Great a lot for Turkey run visit
This is a beautiful home with little extras that made the stay perfect. We stayed one night and hiked Turkey Run State Park which was just a short 20 minute drive.
