Cross country drive - one of the better...

Traveling with two small dogs. The staff was professional and friendly. Room was good / clean. This was one of the better inexpensive motels I stayed at.

This hotel offered everything we were looking for.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
We needed an inexpensive hotel to stay in for three nights during my son's graduation from basic combat training. The hotel was in an excellent location from the base. The room was big, clean and the beds were comfortable.The shower even had extra room. Continental breakfast with waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, donuts etc. The only downfall I'd say was the pool. It was smaller than the picture and has a 45 degree angle drop from the 4 foot to the 6 foot with no flat bottom to stand on. But we didn't have much time to swim anyway.

Econo Lodge Review

We found the front office staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside Fort Leonard Wood. There are some restaurants nearby that were easy to find as well including a nice Mexican restaurant and a Waffle House next door. The rooms in the hotel were clean and well kept. The rooms have exterior entrance and may not be for everyone as there was some noise that could be heard while in the room. But we found the location to be safe. It has a nice outdoor pool which was well attended as it was hot when we stayed there. The breakfast was okay. If location and proximity to Fort Leonard Wood is important, then this might be the place for you. If you are looking for a hotel with the total package complete with newer amenities, this may not be the place for you.
