The entrance is just beautiful and the entire hotel sparkles. One thing that is awkward in Room 212 is that the closet bars do not make sense. It is very difficult to hang clothes.

Love This Hotel!!

We stay here at least twice a year. We love the hotel and the staff, the rooms are always clean and well appointed. Our only quip is the Zinc restaurant attached to the hotel. We always have service issues and/or issues just trying to eat a simple meal. It’s poorly managed and staffed, the food is good, this time we were turned away because they couldn’t accommodate a party of two for breakfast around 9:30am on a Sunday...sad. Luckily the staff at the actual hotel is always professional and nice. We’ll keep coming back and continue to hope the Zinc gets their act together.

5 Star Accommodations at a 3 Star Price.

Pros: Clean, exquisitely maintained, and elegant as it could be.
Cons: The breakfast restaurant bar stools are heinously uncomfortable for what is otherwise a terrific start to any day.
Location: The restaurants that touch the hotel are superb, but it is slim pickings unless you want to drive into Downtown Bay City
The most perfect stay yet. The hotel is among the most beautiful I have ever been in. The staff is wonderful, and the exercise room is better equipped than gyms in the vast majority of small towns I have visited. There is also plenty of free parking available, and even when the hotel parking lot was full, the place was really quiet. The beds come close to the comfort of a 55K Kluft mattress I personally own (and love). The room size is so generous, I never felt cramped for what was close to a 10-day continuous stay. Not to mention the linens and bathrobes were among the finest I have felt, and there is a fully-stocked Keurig-type coffee/tea maker in each room (complimentary). The restaurants served excellent food, although it was a little pricey. I am due back in town in another three weeks, and if they have availability, it will be my first choice. If this hotel were in any other major city than Midland, it would probably be a 4-500 dollar a night room. Highest recommendation from me, and at the price, a bargain.

4-star experience for a 3-star price tag

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, amazing service, beautiful facilities, amazing restaurants, walking distance to downtown
This hotel really is a bargain for the price. We stayed there for a night during a leisure weekend before moving on to Soaring Eagle. It really did outpace our expectations. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Fresh-baked cookies in our room, amazing friendly service, a great room, it really was like staying in an upscale boutique hotel in a larger city. A great gem for the Midland area, we'll definitely stay again!

Very chic for a small town

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
We we very pleased with our experience at the H, for a small town the public areas of the hotel were very stylish and chic, (the guest rooms were nice but not quite on par with the rest of the hotel, it looked as if they had been converted from just a standard economy hotel) However this did not deter from our overall stay. The restaurant and bar were very nice and the location was good. We were able to stroll the quaint downtown area as well as take in a free concert at the adjacent park and enjoy the farmers market on the weekend.

great business stay

As long as you are not paying for this hotel yourself, it's a great place to stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the baseball field, the riverfront, and several great restaurants. The room was quiet, the fitness room was very well equipped, and parking was free.

Great facility.

Hotel is great. Friendly staff handled all my questions and minor problems quickly. They made sure our stay was comfortable and worry free. Great location in downtown Midland. Great area with local restaurants and businesses. Also wonderful park/walk/play area right outside the front door. On the rivers and the ""Tridge"" (triple'll see). Will deffinately stay there next time we're in town.

Great Getaway

. Besides the great location in Midland and the close drive to Soaring Eagle Casino, the accomadations were superb. the staff was professional and helpful. They were able to accomodate us for all meals in the great restaurant, The Crossing. My husband has worked in the restaurant/catering business for years and what a treat to have such a gem of a restaurant in the hotel. The manager Rudy and our server Devin were great. Also the garage parking was great on the snowy weekend. Thank you for keeping some smoking rooms. "

Great Place To Stay for Business

When I travel to the Midland, Mount Pleasant area, I make sure to stay at the Ashman Court Marriott Hotel & Conference Center because of its professionalism, cleanliness and overall look. I feel comfortable there and enjoy having all of the amenities in one location.
