Hotel is next to the Lerner Theater. Parking is free if you park on the upper level of the garage. Parking is $15 on the lower level. FYI I do recommend this property.

This is a nice, quiet hotel in downtown Elkhart just 1 block from the Lerner Theater. There is a cafe on the first floor, and a bar/grill around the corner from the front desk. NOTE TO EXPEDIA: YOU NEED TO TELL TRAVELERS THAT THERE IS A $15 CHARGE FOR DAILY PARKING!

It's wonderful to see an historic, iconic hotel well-restored with all the amenities, being used. My wife and I had a wonderful evening, and the cafe/coffeeshop was an excellent spot for a delicious breakfast. The only complaint was there was a slight "pee" smell around the toilet, meaning it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned by housekeeping, and yet, the rest of our room and the hotel in general was in fine condition. Staff couldn't have been friendlier.
