The only positive about this hotel is that we booked it before they doubled their rate for ND football season. That is the only reason we booked there. It is located in a sketchy area. It is in disrepair and very dirty. Everything says non-smoking, but clearly isn't enforced. The whole place smells like cigarette and weed smoke. They try to cover this up in the lobby area with a not so pleasant air freshener. The room we were in was very musty and smelled bad. All of the floors are stained and dirty. There are stains visible on the bedding. There were stains on the towels. There was hair in the tub. The sink faucet was broken and had to be pushed down while turning to shut off the water. The main room doors don't close automatically and have to be shoved shut. The extra safety lock also didn't work. Ice machine on 3rd floor didn't work and the water is cloudy. Also, you can here EVERYTHING going on around your room. Every foot step above, word being spoken, and other activities. Between all 3 rooms that our group was in, the rooms were all equally as bad. The staff are friendly, but very unprofessional.

The proximity to Notre Dame is good and surrounding area is safe and well maintained. Room was fine but check in took way to long. Breakfast was good but need more waffle stations

This place is currently under renovation or so that is what I was told.the male desk clerk was helpful in attempting to find us a room however one room had dirty carpets and shower floor was cracked needing repair. The next room my daughter found a roach in the bathroom and one crawling on a wall. Asked NOT to charge my bank card. I/we went elsewhere!!
