I Thoroughly Enjoyed my stay at the Aloft Tampa Downtown. The Hotel Staff were Friendly and accommodating of room requests. Great with area attractions details and food choices. I Highly recommend staying at this hotel when in the Tampa Bay area for your travels. Thumbs Up!

The pool only had 7 lounges for a big hotel. Even though i spent a tremendous amount of money for the hotel stay, i could not get a glass to use in my room. The hotel needs a renovation. The walls, carpets, in and out of the rooms were shabby, dingy and stained. The staff was courteous, accomodating and helpful. The hotel was well-located.

The location of the property is great when visiting son at U of Tampa. However, given it’s busy location you will hear a good bit of road noise. Horns and sirens etc
For the price per night, the hotel is lacking. Asked for ibuprofen. And there’s none to even purchase.
Bathroom counter was not clean when I checked into my room.
They going for trendy vibe but lobby is cold and sterile, like an Apple Store.
It’s not awful but for the price it’s overvalued.
